It Sounds Horrible
By Adam Blue | April 27, 2008
But my buddy got a divorce, meaning we can now go out and drink and meet girls. He acted totally happy when he told me, so my excitement level was alright. They were together for maybe a year, and we chilled a lot before then…just not after. And he got a pad downtown, so any night I get wasted and don’t want to drive home, he’ll probably hook me up. So, now that’s two people I know with a place walking-distance downtown to pass-out.

Well, No…
By Adam Blue | April 26, 2008
So last weekend didn’t go as planned…but it was still awesome. And this weekend hasn’t gone as planned, but is still awesome. But then Elaine told me that she has a boyfriend. So, I guess we’re are no longer ‘waiting’. In that case, her visit in May might be a little weird, but since she changed her flight late I might not have that time off anyway. Because…what would we do? But that’s happened, and it’s done. She told me that that was the reason why she has been distant lately. What happened to the honesty? I had to guess this whole time? But it’s done so now it’s time to move on.
Last night I went to Broncos to meet with a work buddy not expecting much but a chill night with a beer. And what was strange was seeing a bunch of people from high school. Not kids in high school, but a bunch of people from my class. They weren’t close friends or anything, but it was just cool seeing some people from back in the day.
The next big thing going on is GTAIV Monday night. I was never a big GTA fan, but the hype is really eating me up.

Crazy Weekends
By Adam Blue | April 16, 2008
Last weekend I first hung out with Hammerblasted (yeah, that’s out band name) on Friday. We jammed at the studio, then got drunk and drove around (okay, that sounds bad). We then found a place to chill, watched some guy covering John Mayer songs, then went to Bennigan’s. The rest is a blur. I woke up Saturday morning at the drummer’s house, and the Schrader (the shredder) and I went to guitar center. We pimped out my guitar a little more. I went home for a few minutes to grab some clothes, then went straight to work.
After work, I drove to Dallas where I met my buddy Jason at Obar with his g/f and her friends (which is always awesome). From there, I just drank a whole lot, remembering the bartender chase some guy down…and other stuff. Jason drove me to his house where I passed out, woke up sick, had Jason drive me to my car in downtown, and then drove home, with only a few minutes to shower, change, and get to work. Before I left, I took out my contacts which had been in all weekend, and put on my glasses. My eyes were relieved.
I was sick all day at work. I then went home, and passed out. The next day, plans started for the following weekend.
Schrader told me about a new bar called Barcadia. It’s a rock bar with arcades games. That’s pretty badass. Then Friday night straight after work I’ll be heading over to Dallas to watch an Iron Maiden cover band. Then Saturday night a few of us may be going to Embargo which I’ve been meaning to do on a Saturday. I dig that place. Exciting.

F***
By Adam Blue | April 9, 2008
So Elaine’s trip got canceled on May 1st, so instead she’ll be here May 21st. I’ll be down south seeing Iron Maiden for two days. Now if I go, I’ll be sad, and if I stay here I’ll be pissed I missed my chance to see Maiden.

It Was Bad…
By Adam Blue | April 2, 2008
As a wee ol’ lad, or just a few years ago, I was into Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold. But each new album that would come out would be just…bad. Though, my little brother and sister dig them as of recently, and I can’t deny them of that. Good for them. So they played Tuesday night, and I took them. I’m pretty sure they had a lot of fun. And I did…for a short time. We get there and watch the J-Rock bands play, which weren’t too bad. I then grab a beer. Out in the lobby I saw tons of hot women, but don’t know why… I was here for Atreyu and A7X, and didn’t think hot women associated with that…but then realized they are probably here with their dudes. Makes sense.
There was one girl I could have talked to…but nah, I blew it. Or really, it just felt odd to do it at that show, with my lil’ bro and sis with me. ya dig?
But then Atreyu and A7X went on. Atreyu played some good old stuff. That wasn’t bad. But A7X played some horrible songs that only game me a headache. Especially the encore.
I used my N95 to try and get some video. I have three, but was only able to upload a short one from my phone. The rest will be done later at my desktop. Although, during one of the songs I was told I could no longer record. Bummer. But really I don’t care.
I had a funny conversation with Jose. But replace the ‘9′ with an ‘11′. My laptop’s time is borked.

Pennywise
By Adam Blue | March 29, 2008
The new Pennywise album is out, and is pretty kick ass. Apparently, Epitaph wasn’t too enthusiastic when Pennywise wanted to start recording again. See, Pennywise has a certain sound, and throughout their ten or so albums, they’ve never changed their sound. Epitaph didn’t care for that. What’s funny is, Epitaph is an indie label. Pennywise never signed to majors because they’d prefer sticking to what they like to play. So this scenario is pretty sad. Pennywise then decided to split from Epitaph and release their album on MySpace records. MySpace is technically owned by Fox. Fox is the type of group Pennywise doesn’t like. They even have a song called ‘Fox TV’ that’s pretty hilarious. But the thing is, MySpace is letting Pennywise do whatever they want. MySpace is the perfect avenue for artists.
Here’s a live video of a song off their new album.
And they are playing in May with another favorite band of mine, Strung Out. I already have my tickets.

Ray Park As Snake-Eyes
By Adam Blue | March 21, 2008
Here are some pictures to add to your ‘greatest pictures ever’ folder. This is from the New G.I. Joe’s movie.
If it ends up just being one big cosplay movie, I’d be fine with that.

St. Patrick’s Day Shade
By Adam Blue | March 16, 2008
I guess people were celebrating St. Patty’s last night. I totally forgot. Steph from Germany was in town(or country…) and she likes to go clubbin’, so we went to my favorite little place, Shade. But damn was it busy. Brandon, the other guitarist in my band, said 90,000 people showed up. It took over an hour to park. Then we got in after being in line, then waited another 30 for drinks.
That’s really it for my story. I was just disappointed that I didn’t see that girl there that I’m attracted to. Oh well. I plan on going crazy Monday night, I’ll let you all in on what goes on.

Yes Please
By Adam Blue | March 8, 2008
When I saw the fun Hitman movie last year, I fell in love the the bad girl, Olga Kurylenko. Well, my tastes certainly have merit as she has been picked to play the next Bond girl in Quantum Of Solace.

Not only have the Gods spoke, but the Director of the next Transporter movie directed the awesome train station fight scene in Hitman, which the main villian is supposedly in Quantum Of Solace. *Mind-Blown*
