Rambo
By Adam Blue | January 26, 2008
As much as people make fun of the Rambo films for being mindless action, the character that Sylvester Stallone plays really has a lot of depth. Well, I could be stretching it, but I don’t think so. I saw the midnight showing of Rambo, which by the way, that theater in Keller plays new releases at midnight which is perfect. I get off work at 10, kill time until midnight to watch movies I don’t really have time for.
Anyway, back on track… This new Rambo film was great. The only problem with the whole thing was when it ended. I didn’t want it to end. But it does a great job of being the fourth movie. It incorporates the previous three films; the lessons Rambo has learned throughout and how he copes with it. I totally dug this movie.
I also watched Hostel II tonight. I liked what they did with it, but at the same time I didn’t really care for it. Very odd. I mean, I appreciate the direction it took, but I think deep down we just want to stick to the formula. Start Slide Show with PicLens Lite
