Back Home And Geotagging

By Adam Blue | January 23, 2008

Well, I’m back home from Colorado. I think I can dig the cold now. We plan on going back next year, but not necessarily Breckenridge. We just want to be in a similar climate. I want to do that every year, but also do tropical, big city, and maybe even international locations once a year. And I love taking pictures.

I brought my Canon digital camera with me to take pictures, but my N95 did much better. I was able to get my phone to integrate the GPS data into every photo and immediately upload it to Flickr, and as you can see it streams to the front page. But when you click on a picture, it will bring you to the Flickr page that allows you to track that location on a map. And it is dead on.

So I added a ‘Geotags‘ page where you can look at a Google map of my geotagged pictures. I’m loving this.
