Colorado Is Not Texas
By Adam Blue | January 20, 2008
So I went to this club called Cecilia’s. It’s supposed to be the best club in Brekenridge. No. It wasn’t. There were too many dudes. And these dudes were douches. They kept annoying the bouncers, tried the lamest moves on the lack of women, and would bump into me like I wasn’t there. In Texas, at a club, if someone bumps into you, they will give you a quick apology. That, or they have already mastered the art of ‘crowd snaking’ in which the incident wouldn’t have even taken place. I was mad. Bouncers kept giving warnings…but in Texas there are no warnings.
And the women. What happened? There weren’t any. A few talked to me…but I was totally not interested. I’m surprised at the turnout.
Other than that, I’ve been enjoying my time. The place is beautiful, and it’s so relaxing being away from home. I’ve got a few more things going on tomorrow, so there should be even more pictures up.
