Sometimes I Rock

By Adam Blue | January 12, 2008

So tonight, Schiller, Puma, and I head on over to Bennigan’s for some eats. We get the same waitress as last time who was very fun to talk to. Then I see this girl Tiffany who I dated years ago, and hadn’t seen since. I go up to her to say hi…and well, she didn’t care. It’s not like we stopped hanging out because of some douchery on my part. We just stopped…it was never close to serious. Anyway, it was a bad ‘My friends are waiting for me’ line, which pretty much shot me down. That doesn’t happen too much. Most of the girls I talk to or date, approach me. That’s great. But if I want what I want, I need to man up and do some talking. Which means more chances of getting shot down, which I need.

Tomorrow night(or tonight), though, could be awesome. I’m going to Shade, which could have a few girls I’m interested in hanging out. I thought I was going to have the gang there with me…but that’s not the case anymore. I thought I’d have to ‘lone’ it. Luckily, good ol’ Puma was happy to join. He’s not much of a night-goer, so I’ll have to show him a good time.

Tonight, or this morning rather, Schiller, Puma, and I played hours of Rock Band. We named our band ‘Set Score Switch’ after a random phrase that appeared in the first Tony Hawk game. We rocked. I stuck with the drums and they traded off guitar and bass.
